General Terms and Conditions:
All funds and plans purchased for use in Catamount Dining are for the personal use of the owner of the account or plan only and are non-transferable. Catamount Dining funds and plans cannot be used as a gift card, gift certificate, or any like program. Requests for meal plan changes may be submitted using the “My CatCard” section of MyWCU through the end of the first week of instruction. After the first week of instruction, meal plan change requests will not be accepted.

Meal plan appeals or emergency requests are handled on a case-by-case basis by a standing appeals committee, and any decision or accommodation provided is only applicable for the specified semester.

Meal Plans, Declining Balance, and Refunds:
All Meal Plans and Declining Balance funds are non-refundable. Unused block meals expire on the earlier of: (I) The last date of enrollment or employment, as applicable, or, (II) The last in-person instructional day of the Fall Semester or Spring Semester. Declining Balance expires on the earlier of: (I) The last date of enrollment or employment, as applicable, or, (II) The last in-person instructional day of the Spring Semester. All purchases are considered final. Exceptions may be made for processing errors.

Services and Hours of Operation:
Catamount Dining reserves the right to modify hours of service and location availability based on several factors including, but not limited to:

  • The number of students on-campus at any given time;
  • Special events and the total number of expected guests on-campus;
  • Physical and situational limitations of the dining program, including limitations in facility availability or labor; and/or
  • Situations outside of the University’s control (i.e., acts of God, fire, strikes, natural disasters, water interruptions, etc.).

Wait times for services will vary based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the time and date of instruction; availability of labor; and an availability of food and supplies. Catamount Dining does not guarantee any particular wait time for any particular service or dining location.

Modifications to services and schedules will be made to ensure the interests of the University community.

COVID-19 Information:
Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present; we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your time on-campus. On-campus housing and dining plans are entered into with the understanding of all parties that there is a risk that public health and safety may result in modified, reduced, or elimination of services. Such action is understood by students who enter into these agreements and students agree to the terms and conditions associated with the agreements they enter. Explicitly, any prior handlings of similar situations do not bind the University to future acts and the student shall be on notice of the risk of reduction of services due to public health and safety.

Catamount Dining reserves the right to alter or change this document at any time and for any reason at its discretion.
